The MPO 1R magnetic drive rotary vane pumps are ideal for low-flow, high-head applications. The MPO pumps feature self-compensating sliding vanes that maintain the designed flow and head, ensuring long operational life. MPO vane pumps are suitable for low-viscosity, non-lubricating liquids and/or high differential pressures, without the rapid wear typical of gear mechanisms.

MPO pumps are capable of self-priming even from dry conditions. The magnetic drive principle consists of an internal magnet connected to the rotor shaft and an external magnet connected to the motor shaft. The synchronous alignment of the two magnets enables pump operation, while decoupling occurs when the pump head exceeds the magnetic coupling torque.

The introduction of a new drive magnet with improved torque allows the maximum operating pressure to reach the same values as comparable pumps with direct coupling.
