The pump body and internal metal parts are made of AISI 316L stainless steel, while the gears are available in PEEK™, Ceramic PEEK™, or PTFE™.
During operation, the MG series pumps are quiet, pulsation-free, and capable of handling high-temperature fluids with a low coefficient of expansion.
The magnetic drive principle is based on an internal magnet, integrated into the pump and connected to the driving gear, and an external magnet, connected to the motor shaft.
The pole-to-pole alignment of the two magnets transmits motion to the pump.
Decoupling occurs when the pump load exceeds the maximum coupling torque ensured by the alignment of the two magnets.
